Ollin Kenneth Meeks passed away April 27, 1980, at Rozenda Beach Hospital in California with leukemia.
Ken was the eldest son of Ollin and Agnes Taylor Meeks, former residents of Cheyenne.
He has been employed by the telephone company in Torrance for a number of years until he took seriously ill last week.
He is preceded in death by his father, Ollin Meeks.
He leaves his wife Shirley and two daughters, Kathery and Kimberely of the home in Torrance, California; his mother, Agnes Smith of Los Angeles; one brother, Joe Meeks of Van Nuys, California; and one sister, Barbara Ann McRae of Bretwood, California; as well as other relatives and friends.
Ken and his mother have visited relatives and friends here each year and will be greatly missed.
He is a nephew of Mrs. Fern Ruby and Mrs. Wayne Taylor of Reydon, Oklahoma.
Burial at Pacific Crest Cemetery, Redondo Beach, California.
