Ronald Thomas Mears
January 6, 1952 ~ May 20, 2021 (age 69)

Ronald Thomas Mears was born in Puyallup, Washington to Elbert Mears and Lilly Belle (Overman) Mears on January 6, 1952. He passed away from this life on May 20, 2021 at the age of 69 in Duncan.

No services are scheduled at this time. All arrangements have been entrusted to the Whitt Funeral Home/Oakcrest Cremation Center in Duncan, Oklahoma.

Ron graduated from Rubidoux High School. He worked many years as a machinist in the auto parts industry. He loved University of Oklahoma football and NASCAR races. But what Ron dearly loved the most was his family especially his grandchildren that he adored and his cat, Bear.

Ron is survived by his two children: Carrie Hinds and husband Samuel of Comanche; Ronnie Mears and wife Aimee of Comanche; three grandchildren: Ashley Niles; Ayden Hinds; Zach Mears; a great-grandchild; Caymus Niles; two brothers; Mike Mears and wife Shelia of Rockwall, Texas; Roy Hicks of Arkansas; sister, Pamela Gettis and husband Chuck of Moreno Valley, CA, and two half-sisters.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
