Tolburn Lee (T.L.) McRae, 96, longtime Duncanville, Texas resident passed from this life on Wednesday, February 5th, 2025 at his home in Durant. Tolburn was born on Monday, January 7th, 1929 in Telephone, Texas to the late Clay Hayden McRae and Buena Mae (Love) McRae.
Tolburn married the love of his life, Dexta L. Kirton on August 15th, 1952 in Dallas, Texas. They came to Durant in February of 2024 from Cedar Hill, Texas. Mr. McRae was a retired mail carrier and enjoyed playing golf. He served 3 years with the United States Air Force. Tolburn and Dexta are members of the Baptist faith.
Tolburn is survived by his wife, Dexta of Durant; daughters, Terry Lynn Holder and husband, Buddy of Durant, and Rita Beth Brantley and husband, Tim of Midlothian, Texas; grandson, Christopher Lance Brantley and wife, Chelsea of Red Oak, Texas; granddaughter, Shelby Lynn Glass and husband, Clay of Midlothian, Texas; grandson, Dustin Ryan Wolf and wife, Jennifer of Durant; granddaughter, Casey Lee Dowd and husband, Jason of Durant; granddaughter, Kaitlyn Colby Holder and spouse, Cara of Durant; grandson, Hunter Jacob Holder and spouse, Andra of Edmond, Oklahoma; granddaughter, Jordan Alexandra Bourland and husband, Trent of Coalgate, Oklahoma; 21 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandkids.
Cremation arrangements were selected and no services are planned at this time.
