Memorial services for Debra Annette McNeill, 61, of Ada, are 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Chickasaw Nation Community Center.
She was born Debra Annette Odom on Monday, April 11, 1955 to Vera Mae Pettigrew and Carl Vallis Odom. Mrs. McNeill passed from this life Sunday, December 11, 2016 at her home in the Homer-Oakman area, surrounded by her family and friends.
Mrs. McNeill worked as an LPN in various hospitals in the Ada and Pauls Valley areas. Priding herself on being an advocate for her patients.
Debbie had a strong faith and proclaimed Yeshua (Jesus) as her personal savior. She passed this faith on to her children.
Survivors include her husband, Don McNeill, of the home; her daughter, Mesha McNeill and fianc�, Marcie Thompson of Ada; her son, Aaron McNeill, wife Crystal and grandson Keilian of Gallup, NM, Shawn McNeill, wife Serica and grandsons, Christopher and Jackie of Norman; close family friends, Laurie Cochran, Gina Hunt and Lacy Davis and family; sister, Linda Bryant and husband Carl of Ada; niece, Andrea and husband Chuck Rohla; and great-nephew, Clayton; sister, Karen Holland and her husband Rick of Ada; nephew, Shane Tatum and wife Shawna; sister, Teresa Snodgrass; nephew, Vallis McCullar; one brother, Carl Odom; and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Beverly Joyce; and her best friend, Mona Chronister.
