Neil P. McNeil, 84, of Muskogee, OK, passed away Monday, August 24, 2020 in Arlington, TX. He was born April 27, 1936 in Vancouver, BC Canada to Michael and Elizabeth McNeil.
He graduated from King Edward High School in Vancouver, BC Canada where he was involved in Boys Club as well as a member of the football team in high school and college.
Neil attended Catholic Church throughout his life and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Muskogee, OK.
He was also a past Lion's Club member.
Neil worked as a sales engineer for several businesses in Oklahoma and California. He was very dedicated to his work and enjoyed working with fellow employees and his customers over the years.
He loved spending time with his family and traveling. His other hobbies included golf, watching old movies, playing cards and spending time with his dogs.
Neil will always be remembered as a wonderful father, who put his family first and ensured their needs were always met.
He is survived by his daughters, Carrie Palmiter (Jeff) and Juli McNeil; son-in-law, Shawn Powell; brother, Gordon McNeil (Terry), Canada; sisters, Kathy McNeil, Donna Lehwald (Harry), Canada; sister-in-law, Sandy McNeil, Canada; nieces of Canada, Rose Pillon, Cheryl Stirling (Mike), Miriam McNeil-Easton (Scott), Candace Lehwald, Michelle Lehwald, Angela Lehwald, Corene Collins (Joe); nephews of Canada, Mike Pillon (Kathy), Ronnie McNeil (Karen), Ryan Lehwald; brother-in-law, Donald Lipari (Kelly), California; cousin, Candace Cornwell (California); grandchildren, Ashley Hoskins (Johnny), Alex Palmiter; many loving cousins, grand nieces and nephews, dogs and grand dogs.
Neil was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Elizabeth McNeil; brothers, Ronnie McNeil, Wallace McNeil; sister, Loretta Pillon (Sergio); son, Patrick McNeil; and wife, Vivian L. McNeil.
Neil's family will receive friends from 5-7PM, Friday, September 4, 2020 at Cornerstone Funeral Home.
Funeral service celebrating Neil's life will be 11AM, Saturday, September 5, 2020 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 321 N. Virginia, Muskogee, Oklahoma with Father Richard Cristler celebrant.
