Barton "Bart" Paul McLin, 51, of Lexington, passed from this life on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 in Oklahoma City after a short illness. Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the Wadley’s Funeral Chapel with Mike Gwin officiating. His ashes will be scattered by his family at a later date. Service are under the care of Wadley’s Funeral Service.
Bart was born April 9th, 1963 in Borger, Texas to Leonard and Nancy (White) McLin. He married Kim Delaney Arthurs on July 5, 2008 in Lexington, where they lived until his passing. Bart was a long time employee of the Oklahoma Department of Corrections and held many positions during his career. He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed riding his Harley and loved to go fishing and camping with his friends.
Bart is preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Nancy McLin; brothers, Randy McLin, Curt Mclin; and uncle, Dewey McLin.
Survivors include his wife, Kim of the home; step-mother, Gwen McLin of Tecumseh, OK; children, Amy Wilson and her husband, Jerry of Mangum, OK, Kaley Arthurs of Norman, OK, Keaton West of Moore, OK; siblings, Greg Delaney and wife, Katie of Anadarko, OK, Noel Morris and wife, Kathy of Norman, OK; mother-in-law, Nancy Delaney of Edgewater, FL; uncles, Ronnie McLin, Jack McLin; special friends, John Broadhead, Kenny Meyer and Lesia and Ted Miser.
Bart is also survived by may friends and his Department of Corrections family.
