On February 7, 1951, God sent a light into the world. Born Betty Joann Butler (Jody) to Derrell Dallas Butler, and Betty Ruth Crandell Butler in Coffeyville, Ks.
74 years and 21 days later, God called Jody home. Jody would be reunited in everlasting life with her mother and father, 2 brothers, DD, and Jim, and 3 sisters, Lorrie, Debbie, and Birdie.
Jody leaves behind two siblings, her brother Steve and sister Brenda. A daughter Marty and her spouse Nile, and Chuck and his spouse Mattie. Many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
Though she had a rough life, her love for life, and family never dimmed. Her love for life was infectious to everyone she came into contact with. Even in pain she could still make anyone she met feel better, and forget their pain, if only for a short time.
Jody's light will be missed by many.
