Robin Pearl Thompson McKinney

February 25, 1962 ~ October 29, 2011

A memorial service was held for Robin Pearl Thompson McKinney, 49, of Marietta on October 31 at Thackerville Church with Mike Sampson officiating.

Born February 25, 1962, in Tacoma, Washington, she died October 29, 2011, in Ardmore. She was preceded in death by her parents, Billy and JoAnn Davis Chambers.

Mrs. McKinney was a resident of Love County since 1969, moving here from Fort Worth, Texas. She and Collin Joe McKinney were united in marriage on December 10, 2010. Mrs. McKinney had an Associates Degree in Mortuary Science.

She was a very loving mommy and wife and a fantastic Nana. She never failed to be an amazing friend and a wonderful cook. She was an avid fan of Rod Stewart and enjoyed dancing and singing with her girls.

Survivors include her husband, Collin Joe McKinney; three daughters, Elizabeth Jamison of San Clemente, California, Amanda Thompson of Thackerville, and Savannah Thompson of Ardmore; one step-son, C.J. McKinney of Marietta; two brothers and sister-in-law, Jim and Elaine Chambers of Temple, Texas and Billy Chambers of Tacoma; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Jennifer and Eddie Hughes of Hulbert and Sharon and Mike Sampson of Thackerville; four beautiful grandchildren, Dylan, Kalob, Tyler and Autumn Rayne; and one irreplaceable friend, Mary Conway of Mannsville.
