Rex Lindsey McKinney

1960 ~ January 17, 2006

Rex Lindsey, 45, of Yukon, Oklahoma, died Tuesday, January 17, 2006, after a short illness. Born in northern California in 1960, he moved here about 20 years ago with his wife Shannon, an Oklahoma native.

Rex worked for 18 years at Metal Container Corp. He was a free-spirited individual and loved spending time with his friends and family, as well as riding his vintage Harley- Davidson motorcycle. He was also a gourmet chef. He always had a ready smile and a mischievous little twinkle in his eye.

Rex was preceded in death by his beloved father and sister, as well as two nephews.

He is survived by his wife Shannon and three daughters, Lindsey, Heather and Christina. Also his family in northern California; his mother, Jayne and eight sisters and three brothers as well as several nieces and nephews, all of whom loved, respected and admired him. He will be missed.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be 10 AM Friday at Smith & Turner Colonial Chapel, 201 E. Maine, Yukon, Oklahoma.
