William Clyde "Bill" McIntyre was born July 19, 1934 to James Earnest McIntyre and Ruby Southwell McIntyre in Paoli, Oklahoma. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, January 9th, 2014.
Bill grew up in Oklahoma City with his sister Dorothy Sales and brother James Earnest McIntyre, Jr. under the watchful, loving care of his mother Ruby. Bill graduated midterm from Central High School in 1952, joining the Army in February of 1953, where he became a paratrooper in 82nd Airborne.
Upon his discharge, Bill returned to Oklahoma City and worked with Fred Jones Ford, retired from Lee Way Motor Freight and Oklahoma County Transportation Department in 1997.
Upon retirement Bill, started living his dream, by moving to Lake Texoma, where he enjoyed and shared his favorite past times with family and friends.
Bill was proceeded in death by his father James Earnest McIntyre and his daughter Brenda Dee McIntrye.
Survivors include his mother, Ruby Southwell McIntyre Olson, sister Dorothy McIntyre Sales, brother James Earnest McIntyre, Jr, and his wife of 35 years, Joan Stovall "Stockstill" McIntyre. Children; Darrel Lee McIntyre, Kim Stockstill Campbell , Richard Kreg Stockstill and wife Kerri. Grandchildren; Richard Charles Reagan 1 and Nicole Reagan, Kody and Kayci Stockstill. Nieces and Nephews; Bret McIntrye and wife Martha, Lauren and Matt Russell, Cayle and Blake McIntyre, and Mike and Ronny Sales. Bill's last years were made complete with the birth of great granddaughter Bailey Grace Reagan, "the apple of his eye."
A Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday, January 16, 2014 @ 3pm at Enos Baptist Church- Kingston, Ok. Ronnie White and Richard Dickerson will officiate the service.
Memorial donations may be made to Enos Baptist Church, 12223 Snell Road, Kingston, Oklahoma 73439.
Services will be under the direction of Watts Funeral Home , Madill, Oklahoma.
