Claude F. "Mac" McIntosh
September 26, 1927 ~ January 23, 2018

Claude F. "Mac" McIntosh, loving husband, father, step-father, brother, and grandfather passed from this life January 23, 2018.

He was born September 26, 1927 to John T. McIntosh and Fuschia Ashbrook McIntosh in Fresno, California, both of his parents preceded him in death.

Claude started his work life early when his father passed away when he was only ten years old. He enlisted when he was 17 in the Merchant Marines during World War II. Claude worked as an Operating Engineer running heavy equipment most of his life, he worked mostly in the Reno Sparks-Carson City area, California, and Arizona. He retired in the 80's with then wife Frances and moved to Bokchito, Oklahoma where they resided for about 13 years, when Frances became ill they returned to the Reno Carson area. In about 2004 Mac contacted Patsy Rogers a dear friend and they eventually wed on July 12, 2006. Claude was a member of the Durant Elks BPOE 1963, Operating Engineers Union for over 50 years, and a Mason.

Mr. McIntosh is survived by his wife, Patsy of Durant, Oklahoma; son, John Allen McIntosh and wife Diane of Stockton, California; daughter, Brenda Joyce McIntosh of Stockton, California; stepchildren, John R. Butler and wife Candy of Reno, Nevada, Shirlene Rogers of Durant, Oklahoma, Carol Dillingham of Durant, Oklahoma, Connie Wilcox of Nevada, and Bonnye Spense of Nevada; brother, Walter McIntosh of New Zealand ;along with grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous other relatives and friends.

Mr. McIntosh was preceded in death by his parents, John Thomas and Fuschis McIntosh; and first wife Francis McIntosh.

A memorial service will be at 10:00 AM Monday January 29th at the Holmes~Coffey~Murray Chapel in Durant, Oklahoma with Bro. Anthony Williams officiating.
