Sierra Nicole McIntire of Bartlesville died Monday in Tulsa but her story doesn't end there. At 13, Sierra already loved the Lord and would often say "Nothing bad can get in your heart when God lives there." Sierra is with her Heavenly Father now.
Sierra was born Nov. 21, 2003, in Bartlesville. At the tender age of five Sierra was adopted by her loving parents Mark and DeDe McMillian. Sierra attended Osage Hills, then Jane Phillips and currently was in the 7th grade at Central. She loved her Word of Truth Fellowship family and the many children's activities. Sierra regularly participated in the Christmas program, church camp and volunteered for her favorite activity Pumpkin Paloozza held yearly at the church.
Sierra loved to play with the younger children at church and at home. Though she was just 13 she was a loving and caring aunt to her younger nieces and nephews, and more like a sister to her older ones. She loved to draw animals and one day hoped to be a veterinarian.
Sierra is survived by her beloved parents of the home, Mark and DeDe McMillian; her birth parents Vencent and Misty Willis; paternal grandmother Connie McMillan; six siblings, Mark McMillian Holdman, Kendel Catlin, Paddy Catlin, Brandon McMillan Wilson, Suny Emmitt and Dakota Willis; and 12 nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held Fri., Oct. 13, 10-8.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Sat., Oct. 14, at Word of Truth Fellowship, with Pastor Jim Anderson officiating.
Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home.
