ENID, OK - The service celebrating the life of Mary Edna McHenry, 91, of Enid, Okla., will be 10 a.m. today, May 16, 2014, at Brown-Cummings Chapel.

Mary was born Oct. 26, 1923, to Joseph and Alice "Coles" Odette in Battle Creek, Mich., and passed away on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, in Enid.

She was raised, educated and graduated from the Battle Creek Catholic high school.

She married the love of her life, Robert A. McHenry, on Nov. 22, 1941, in Battle Creek.

The couple lived various places, where Robert was stationed while serving his country during WWII.

She worked as an emergency medical technician for more than 30 years.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda Watson and husband Rocky of Enid, and Roberta Stevens of Richland, Mo.; 18 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; two brothers; and one sister.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Robert, as well as two sons, two daughters and two grandchildren.
