William Thomas McGuire Sr. passed away January 4, 2022, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, at the age of 84.
He was born August 10, 1937, in Ochelata, Oklahoma to Tom McGuire and Gladys Kaiser. William spent his working years at Ward Electric and Grainger Electric, he also worked in the oilfield business, and later worked for Reda Pump, where he stayed for over 30 years before taking retirement. He loved being around his family and enjoyed spending time at home with his daughter Carla, who took such good care of him. He also enjoyed fishing, horseback riding in the Utah mountains, bowling in league, and talking to everyone at the Talala Grocery Store where he was well known.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Tom McGuire and Gladys Kaiser; his brothers Albert and Kelly McGuire; his daughter Theresa McGuire; his son Russel McGuire; his granddaughter Kimberly D’Ann Jester; and his grandsons Kolton Thomas Zachery and Tracy Earl Jester.
He is survived by his children: William “Bill” Thomas McGuire Jr.and wife, Lynne, Carla Sue McGuire Reddout, Harold Wayne “Petey” McGuire, his sister Debbie Malone; his brothers Dickie Pointer and Jerry Pointer; his special friends Steve Wall and Don Barker; 21 grandchildren and lots of great-grandchildren, as well as many cousins and a host of friends.
