Patty Sue McGonigal, 70, resident of Bartlesville, died Sunday, October 13, 2013 at her home.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 16, 2013, in the New Life IPHC Church in Bartlesville, with Pastor Connie McCray officiating. Cremation arrangements were directed by the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
Patty Sue McGonigal was born February 9, 1943 at Bartlesville, Oklahoma to Alva and Eunice (Terry) Barnett. She was raised and received her education in Ochelata, Oklahoma. Mrs. McGonigal lived in the Ochelata area most of her life. She was married to Bobby C. McGonigal on January 30, 1959 at Miami, Oklahoma and they made their home in the Ochelata area. Mrs. McGonigal worked as a beautician for over forty years in Ochelata, Bartlesville, and Dewey, Oklahoma. She was a member of the New Life IPHC Church. Mrs. McGonigal was a member of the Eagles Lodge and the Women's Auxiliary of the American Legion. She loved to play bingo with her family and grandchildren. Spending time with her family was her greatest joy in life. She especially loved having Sunday dinner with her family and friends.
Survivors include; her husband Bobby Clovis McGonigal of the family home in Bartlesville; one son Kevin Clovis McGonigal also of the family home; three daughters Debbie Lynn Banda and her husband Gustavo, Beckey Sue Griggs and her husband Joe and Terisa May West and her husband Carl all of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; one sister Phyllis Massengale of Amarillo, Texas; thirteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren and her best friend and bingo partner Jan Rosko.
Mrs. McGonigal was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and four sisters.
