VIOLA MCGEHEE - Services for Viola McGehee, 87, were Monday, April 19, at 12:30 p.m. in the Mount Olivet Chapel, Fort Worth, TX.
Born June 17, 1911, at Myra, TX, Mrs. McGehee died April 17, 1999, in Fort Worth. Reared in Thackerville, Mrs. McGehee was a retired business lady and postmistress.
She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ron and Carolyn McGehee of Bedford, TX; and Harold and lea Rae McGehee of Keller, TX; a daughter and son-in-law, Marlene and Thomas Walker of Bedford; a brother, George M. Smith of Richland Hills, TX; five grandchildren, Glenna Garrison, Judy Ford, Lisa Parrish, Rick McGehee and Laronna McGehee; four great-grandchildren, Marti Barclay, Jamie Moore, Stephanie Martin and Blake Crawford; six great-great-grandchildren, Hunter Barclay, Morgan Barclay, Tawnie Moore, Ashlee Moore, Blake Martin and Brittani Martin; and a sister-in-law, Evelyn Smith of Gainesville, TX.
Mrs. McGehee was preceded in death by her husband, Glennis McGehee on April 11, 1982. Interment was in the Mount Olivet Cemetery, directed by the Mount Olivet Funeral Home.
