Donna Sue McGee was born September 23, 1948, to Delbert Guy and Margaret (Seals) Dunlap in Sayre, Oklahoma. She passed away December 19, 2019, in Sayre, Oklahoma.
Donna attended Sayre Schools, finishing in 1967. She married Darrell McGee in Sayre, Oklahoma on June 28, 1968.
Donna Sue and Darrell made their home in Sayre. She was employed by Ace Hardware, Johnson’s Fertilizer, but as the years went by she found her true passion with in-home care for the elderly. She was a devoted caretaker and was loved by many. Donna Sue loved her family. She devoted most of her free time attending sporting events of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She was the center of the family with her love and laughter. She loved playing bingo and cooking in her spare time. She was very generous when it came to her family.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents: Delbert Guy and Margaret Dunlap, 3 brothers: Kenneth Dunlap, Johnny Dunlap, and Troy Dunlap along with 1 sister: Jean Dunlap Tice.
Donna is survived by her husband: Darrell McGee, and Sissy, her beloved Boston Terrier of the home. She has 5 surviving brothers: Ronald (Pete) Dunlap and wife Mary Jane of Sayre, Oklahoma, Mickey Joe Dunlap and wife Suzanne of Elk City, Oklahoma, Donald Dee Dunlap of Sayre, Oklahoma, Jimmy Dale Dunlap and wife Linda of Berlin, Oklahoma, Carl Guy Dunlap and wife Gayla of Erick, Oklahoma, and Boonie Dunlap of Sayre, Oklahoma. She also has 3 surviving sisters: Joy Burns of Sayre, Oklahoma, Doris Cummings of Elk City, Oklahoma, and Pam Dunlap of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She will be missed by all.
Memorial services will be held 10:00 AM, Monday, December 23, 2019 at Rose Chapel, Sayre with Pastor Charlie Floyd officiating.
