Don Freeman McGee

Don Freeman McGee
December 15, 1962 ~ January 6, 2026

Don was born on December 15, 1962 in Bakersfield, California to the late Grover Franklin McGee & Glessie Leola (Owens) McGee. He passed from this life at his home on January 6, 2026 at the age of 63 years & 22 days.

Don grew up in Arvin, California. On November 9, 1996 he married Jeanne Crutchfield. With 6 kids in tow, they moved to Cushing from California & have remained in the same house since. Don had worked in the area oil fields as a truck driver, retiring from BFI.

He loved spending time with his grandkids & playing pranks & jokes on his family & friends. He enjoyed collecting coins, antiques, & old bottles. He was an avid football fan & enjoyed watching his favorite teams, OU & the Green Bay Packers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings: Martha Brummet – Salatha Davis – David Green – Janie Turpin – Thurman McGee - & Theresa Raynor.

His remaining family includes his loving wife: Jeanne McGee of the home; Children: Don Wilford McGee – Fernando Arias Vallido – Don Freeman McGee, Jr. – Lolita Mary-Ann Murch – Robin Leola McGee – Timothy Wayne Garrett, Jr.; Grandchildren: Tonya – Destiny – Raina – Arissa – Chloe – Zoey – Maya – Jazzmen – Marianna – Hinley – Addison – Timothy – Aaliyah – Maddison – Don – Linda – Martha – Grayson – Violet - & Adrianna; Siblings: Martin McGee – Toni Conyer – Audery Walters – Lila Toy - Terry McGee; PLUS numerous Nieces – Nephews – Cousins – other relatives - & friends.
