Andrea Kay McGee was born on November 8, 1970 in Ardmore, OK to Herman V. McGee and Leola Jones. She died on March 20, 2014 in Lawton, OK surrounded by family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Salt of the Earth Ministries, 1502 SW "I" Avenue with Pastor Victor Dixon, officiating. A wake service is scheduled at 6:30 on Friday evening at the church.
Andrea was active in Christian ministries, having been ordained as a minister from the Emmanuel Dudley School of Ministry in Lansing, IL this month. She participated in several flag ministries, as well as the hospitality ministry. Andrea was the founder and creator of Pamper Me/Gifted Hands. She enjoyed cosmetology, fashion, interior decorating, event planning and culinary arts. Andrea was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cleomia West, Charles Jones, Inez Wilson and Walter "Jack" McGee.
Survivors include her parents; three children, Adonnis McGee, Brandon Mungo and Terra McGee, all of Lawton; siblings, Darlene McGee of Ardmore, Karen McGee of Long Beach, CA, Shedrick McGee of Kansas City, MO, and James McGee and Anita McGee of Oklahoma City; nieces, Ericka McGee and Leah Agers of Oklahoma City, and Shannon McGee and Destiny Chambers of Ardmore; a nephew, Malik McGee of Oklahoma City; a daughter in law, Stephanie Olson, and grandson A'zaan Shannon. Survivors also include the Knight, Davis and King families, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Andrea was the expectant grandmother of baby boy, Adonnis, Jr.
