ENID, Okla. - Service for Gloria Blanche McFarland, 90, of Enid, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 9, 2013, at General Assembly Church of The First Born. Arrangements are under the kind guidance of Stittsworth Funeral Service.
Gloria was born April 15, 1922, in Aline, Okla., the daughter of Ray and Vernie Ratcliff Watkins and passed away peacefully on Friday, March 1, 2013.
She was raised in Aline, graduating from Aline High School with the class of 1941.
On Dec. 13, 1941, she married William "Bill" McFarland.
Gloria worked at Pekrul Manor and for the Enid High School Kitchen.
She was a member of General Assembly Church of The First Born.
Surviving Gloria are her two sons, Terry L. McFarland and Gregory McFarland, both of Enid; one sister, Jean Ealey of Colorado Springs, Colo.; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Gloria was preceded in passing by her husband, parents, one grandson, two brothers and one sister.
