John Raymond McFadden

John Raymond McFadden
October 9, 1939 ~ August 29, 2021

Edmond - John Raymond McFadden, 81, of Edmond, OK, passed away on Sunday, August 29th 2021.

John was born in Pawhuska, OK on October 9th, 1939 to parents William and Hazel McFadden. John graduated from Pawhuska High School, received his Bachelor of Education from Northeastern State College and earned a Master's Degree in Human Development from Governors State College.

John's first career and passion was teaching; he taught Special Education as well as coached basketball. Ultimately, John landed on a career in Respiratory Therapy and spent over 30 years caring for patients at both OU Presbyterian and OU Edmond Hospitals.

John belonged to the Parish of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Elks Club. John had a passion for fishing, bowling, and most of all, his grandchildren.

John is survived by his children, Terese Justus, Patrick McFadden and Michael McFadden; Grandchildren, Gage, Keaton, Mason and Spencer McFadden; Brothers, Mike and Noel McFadden; Sisters, Mary Adams, and Ann Angelopoulos. John was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Gaynell.

A memorial service for John was held at 11am, Saturday, September 4th, 2021 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church located in Edmond, OK.
