Cynthia Diane (Richarson) McElroy

Cynthia Diane (Richarson) McElroy
November 18, 1953 ~ August 19, 2020 (age 66)

Cynthia Diane McElroy was born November 18, 1953 in Chandler, Oklahoma to Bobby Gene Richardson and Para Lee Louise (Franklin) Richardson. She passed away August 19, 2020 at the age of 67.

Cindy worked at the City of Chandler for 20 years as the Court Clerk, where she retired. She enjoyed spending time with her family. She held her daughters and grandbabies close to her heart and would have done anything she possibly could for them. She worried about them all the time, even when she didn’t need to. She loved her entire family. Her family is what she lived for, she tried to take care of everyone. She enjoyed cooking and was amazing at it until her health started to fade.

She was a strong lady with a fighting spirit who wouldn’t hesitate to stand up for her family. She always had a warm hug and a shoulder to cry on, when you needed it. She was a kind person to everyone. She had an infectious smile and laugh. She was a special lady who will be missed dearly. We know she is in the arms of the Lord and her daughter Lori, who she missed every day since her passing.

Cindy is preceded in death by her daughter, Lori Ann McElroy, father Bob Richardson, niece April Richardson, sister Debra Cummings, brother-in-law Alfred Cummings, and Grandma Franklin. Survivors include her daughter, Brooke Jordan, her husband Perry Jordan, grandchildren, Curtis Rambin, Girlfriend Magen Dean, Dawson McElroy, Alivia and Jace Jordan, mother Para Lee Richardson, Brother “Buddy” Richardson, sister-in-law Judy Richardson, nephew J.R. Cummings, wife Angela Cummings, their son Easton Cummings, niece Julie Brothers, husband John Brothers, their son Jake Brothers; along with other family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2020, at the Church of Christ in Davenport. Arrangements are under the direction of Lehman Funeral Home of Wellston.
