Jerry Lynn Brown McElhaney, 48, of Norman, died Friday, June 1, 2018 at his home.   He was born to Billie Jean (McLaren) McElhaney and William Jerry McElhaney on November 4, 1969 in Oklahoma City.

Jerry was saved and baptized as a young child at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Blanchard.  He attended Blanchard and Dibble Schools and graduated from Dibble High School in 1988. He then went to Sooner Technology School to study HVAC. He worked for many years in the oil field. Jerry was a talented musician and loved to play and write music. He could light up a room and never met a stranger. Jerry's best times in life were entertaining his friends, playing music and being the life of the party. He loved spending time with his family and being outdoors, enjoying God's creation.

Jerry is survived by his parents, Bill and Jeanne Brown, of Blanchard and Jerry McElhaney and wife, Pat, of Norman; two daughters, Haley Brown and her husband, Tanner, of Blanchard and Riley Ann McElhaney of Edmond; one son, Bryce McElhaney of Norman; two grandchildren, Tinley Brown and Baylor Brown; two sisters, Leisa Yarbrough and her husband, Darren, of Blanchard and Stella Cox and her husband, Todd, of Newcastle; numerous nieces and nephews; and many other loved ones and friends.

Memorial service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, June 9, 2018 at the Eisenhour Funeral Home Chapel in Blanchard.

Arrangements are under the direction of Eisenhour Funeral Home of Blanchard.
