Thomas "Tom" McDowell

Thomas (Tom) McDowell went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 25, 2017. No services are scheduled at this time.

Tom received an associate’s degree in Animal Science in 1969 and then opened his horse training and breeding business in 1971. In 2006 he relocated to Love County where he continued his horse operation until his death.

Tom was a member of Marietta’s First Baptist Church, the American Quarter Horse Association, and the National Reining Horse Association.

Tom leaves behind his wife of 44 years, Linda, and his beloved horses.

Memorial donations can be made to Cross Timbers Hospice, 207 “C” Street Northwest, Ardmore, OK 73401 or to the National Reining Horse Foundation, 3021 West Reno, Oklahoma City, OK 73107-6125.
