Hazel Alene Johnson McDaniel was born on November 3, 1919, in Prague, and departed this life on Friday, October 23, 2015, in Prague, Oklahoma, at the age of 95.
Hazel, the daughter of Robert and Eldora Jane Wallis Johnson, was a resident of Little.
She married James Hershel McDaniel on April 22, 1938, in Seminole.
Hazel received an associates degree from Seminole Junior College. She retired from Tinker, where she worked as an electronic technician, she also worked for many years at Moore's Grocery Store in Prague.
She was a member of the Harvey Road Baptist Church in Seminole, a ministry that Hazel proudly participated in was sponsoring children who needing financial assistance attending Falls Creek youth camp.
Hazel enjoyed sewing and doing crochet, she also loved to fish and spend time at the place she and Hershel owned at Tenkiller Lake, but the most important thing to Hazel was spending time with and taking care of her family.
Her parents, husband, two daughters, three sisters and two brothers preceded her in death.
Hazel is survived by one grandson, Mike Vass and his wife Denise of Seminole, two granddaughters, L. Denise North and her husband Ted of Seminole and Jenen Factor of Seminole, ten great-grandchildren, twelve great great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law, Tina Johnson of Prague and Billie Johnson of Prague, and many other family and friends.
