Calvin Dwayne McDaniel
January 29, 1950 ~ April 6, 2020

Calvin Dwayne McDaniel was born January 29, 1950 to Richard and Virginia McDaniel in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. He departed this life April 6, 2020 at the age of 70 years.

He graduated in 1968 from Waurika High School. On January 21, 1972, Calvin McDaniel and Jeanna Pogue were united in marriage. To this union were born five children, Jeff, Bryan, Jennifer, Jana and Jason.

Calvin was currently working for the Gypsy School. He did whatever was needed from driving the bus, maintenance on the building and mowing the grass. He was a faithful member of the Gypsy Holiness Church where he enjoyed playing the bass guitar and singing. He had a special gift as an altar worker at whatever church service they were attending; he could always be found at the altar praying for others. He enjoyed fishing, playing basketball, listening to guitar music of any kind and most importantly, spending time with his children and grandchildren. His grandchildren were his life.

He is survived by his wife Jeanna of the home; four children, Jeff McDaniel and wife Jennifer, Jennifer Richison and husband Justin, Jana Hartwick and husband Chris, Jason McDaniel; three sisters, Mildred Sloat and husband Leon, Sharon Moore, Brenda Briggs and husband Tom; two brothers, Richard McDaniel and wife Jonell, Darrell McDaniel and wife Marla and Renee Greer and husband Ralph; fifteen grandchildren, Cole, Sydney and Joel McDaniel, Benjamin, Brianna and Addison Richison, McKinzie, McKayla, Liam, Bethany and Cayson Hartwick, Hunter, Dakota, Logan and Jaxon McDaniel. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Bryan Jean McDaniel.
