Sharon Lorellei (Greene) McCurry

October 19, 1952 ~ April 5, 2024

Sharon Lorellei McCurry of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2024, in the Integris Edmond Medical Center in Edmond, Oklahoma, at the age of 71 years.

Sharon Lorellei McCurry was born on October 19, 1952, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, to James Eugene and Juanita Irene (Lane) Greene. She grew up in Blackwell graduating from Blackwell High School. On December 20, 1977, she married Richard Patrick McCurry in Blackwell and they made Blackwell their home. She worked a few jobs outside the home, but her main interest were raising and caring for her family and serving them as a homemaker.

She is survived by her husband Pat McCurry of Blackwell; a son, James McCurry of Blackwell; five daughters, Stephanie Skaggs of Blackwell, Lisa Appleby of Katy, Texas, Holly McKee of Ponca City, Patricia Skaggs of Blackwell and Jeanette Reames of Blackwell; a brother, Donald Greene of Warner Robins, Georgia; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and two daughters, Laurie Spencer and Jasmine McCurry.
