Patricia Ann (Salkil) McCullough

Patricia Ann (Salkil) McCullough
February 19, 1937 ~ December 3, 2025

Patricia Ann McCullough, a beloved mother, devoted teacher, and active member of her community, passed away on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, in Barnsdall, Oklahoma, at the age of 88.

Patricia was born on February 19, 1937, to Leo Salkil and Ethel Faye (Vulgamore) Salkil. She was a proud graduate of Barnsdall High School.

Patricia dedicated her life to working with children. She worked as a compassionate teacher at Head Start and carried that mission into her personal life, driving many children to church and actively leading children's church services. She was known for her boundless energy and fun spirit, and was famous for being a better skater than most of the kids on Wednesday night church trips!

Patricia also had a career at Phillips 66 as a key puncher before her retirement, and she later worked for several years at Felisha's Flowers in Skiatook, Oklahoma.

In her leisure time, Patricia was a very talented crafter who loved to crochet. She also enjoyed being on a bowling team and spending quiet moments sitting on the porch watching the birds.

She was first married to Mark Shaw, and later married Alvin McCullough, to whom she was married until his passing.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin McCullough; her parents, Ethel and Leo Salkil; her sister, Betty Phillips, her brother Jack Salkil; her brother-in-law, Wayne Gardner; her grandchildren, Dustin Cooper and Brittni Shaw; and her great-grandson, Justice Warren.

She is survived by her beloved children: son, Larry Shaw and his wife, Lisa, of Barnsdall; daughter, Konni Mcconall of Aberdeen of South Dakota; son, Russell McCullough and his wife, Ginger, of Bartlesville; son, Randy McCullough and his fiancée, Kim Bargers, of Barnsdall; and daughter, Toni Moles and her husband, David, of Barnsdall. She is also survived by her siblings: Sister in Law Faye Salkil; brother Terry Salkil (Billie); and sister Ina Gardner; Hope and Eli Gilchrest; Arin Warren and Nathaniel; Darion Anthony and Brooke; Beau Shaw and Ashlee Marvin; Summer Shaw and Jesse Davis; Keith Cooper and Becky Sjerven; Sharon McCullough, Chrissi McCullough and Tera Schooley; Jason and Samantha McCullough; Nicholas McCullough; Jesse and Brianna Bellamy; Kyndra and Mason Morris; Nathan and Danica Moles; Sarra Moles and Carson Scott, her legacy lives on through her 21 great-grandchildren:

She will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
