Private graveside memorial services for Mary Jo (Robinette) McCoy, 87, of Edmond, OK will be held on Saturday, June 22, 2019. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.
Jo was born November 27, 1931 in Mulhall, OK to Sarrah Ellen (Wagoner) Robinette and Raymond Delos Robinette. She passed away Monday, May 20, 2019 in Edmond, OK.
She grew up attending Mulhall and Guthrie Schools and graduated from Guthrie High School. She married Billy Eugene McCoy and they had two children, Billy Jr. and Marilee.
Jo enjoyed working for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company and AT&T. She retired as a manager after a 43 year career.
She loved spending time with her family; and especially loved spoiling her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. ??Jo also loved traveling throughout the United States and the world, reading, knitting, and crocheting.
Jo is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Betty Howry, Bill Robinette, Bob Robinette, Ralph Robinette, and Allan Robinette.
She is survived by her children, Billy and Amy McCoy and Marilee and Brad Camerer; her grandchildren, Melissa and Dave Dodson, Elliott Williams and fiance??? Heidi Griswold, Sarrah and Michael Black, Alec Williams, and Matt and Amanda McCoy; her great-grandchildren, Brianna Dodson, Jackie Dodson, Jonathan Dodson, Madelyn McCoy, and Abigail McCoy; and siblings, Janie Jeffrey, Ken Robinette, Linda Kirby, Alene Robinette, and Vickie Detjen.
There will be no visitation.
