Memorial services for Gaylee Ann (Webb) McCoy, 63, of Oklahoma City, OK will be held at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, July 24, 2019 at the First Christian Church with Reverend Ronnie Fields officiating. There will be a reception following the service. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home.
Gaylee was born on June 9, 1956, to William (Bill) and Lois Webb. She passed away on July 20, 2019, in Oklahoma City.
Gaylee grew up in Guthrie, graduating from Guthrie High School, in 1974. She attended Oklahoma State University. She lived most of her adult life in Oklahoma City where she made a career working in mortgage companies.
Gaylee took dancing when she was a little girl, and she never stopped. She loved to dance and have fun. If she was around, everyone was laughing. She never met a stranger.
Gaylee attended the First Christian Church in Guthrie where she was baptized on March 28, 1965.
Gaylee showed herself as a warrior over the past few years. She was a fighter and kept fighting right up to the end. Her love for friends and family was never ending.
She is survived by her sons, John Eric (Kaylee) McCoy and Ty Jordan (Hannah) McCoy and the boys’ father, John McCoy. She is also survived by her sister, Susan Davison and husband Bobby Davison and her brother, Dwayne Webb and Larry Buss and her nephew, Chase (Chelsea) Davison. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and very close friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
There will not be any visitation.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her name to the First Christian Church, 402 East Noble Avenue, Guthrie, Oklahoma 73044 or to FOGAS (Friends of Guthrie Animal Shelter), P.O. Box 1557, Guthrie, Oklahoma 73044.
