Funeral services for Sylvania McConnell, 69, of Alex, Okla., will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2003, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.
Sylvania McConnell was born Dec. 20, 1933, and died on Thursday, Sept. 18, 2003.
Services are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
Funeral service for Sylvania McConnell, 69, of Alex, Oklahoma, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 20, 2003, in the Chapel of Sevier Funeral Home.
Sylvania McConnell was born December 20, 1933, in Minco, Oklahoma, the daughter of George Preston and Kate (Watson) Webb, and died September 18, 2003, in Norman, Oklahoma.
She and Harlon Edward McConnell were married November 28, 1952, in Chickasha, Oklahoma.
Mrs. McConnell was preceded in death by her parents; 3 sisters: Gladys Bailey, Ida Peral Webb, and Opal Caggle; 1 son, Steve Edward McConnell.
Survivors include: husband, Harlon Edward McConnell, of the home; 5 sons: George Robert McConnell of Alex, Jimmy Dwayne McConnell of Alex, Bruce Harley McConnell of Alex, Paul Davie McConnell of Alex, Malcolm Dean McConnell and wife, Felicia, of Alex; 4 sisters: Shirlene Braswell of Bethany, Oklahoma, Martha Wagner of Tempe, Arizona, Georgia McCarley of San Antonio, Texas, Ophelia Klopfenstien of Warr Acres, Oklahoma; 2 granddaughters: Fauna Leann McConnell, Rebecca Faye McConnell; 2 grandsons: Casey Joyce McConnell, Justin Tyler McConnell, all of Alex.
Services are under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.
