Tony McCombs
May 31, 1939 ~ May 20, 2024

Ponca City, Oklahoma | In loving memory of Tony McCombs, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother who passed away on May 20, 2024, in Ponca City, Oklahoma, at the age of 84. He was born on May 31, 1939, in Fairview, IL, to Charles and Bonnie (Edwards) McCombs.

He was a member of the United States Air Force for 4 years and after his term, worked as a Core Inspector for Caterpillar Equipment. On April 6, 2006, he married the love of his life, Vicky Jo Marlow, in Rushville, IL, and the two lived a happy and loving life with their two yorkies until Tony’s passing.

Tony found joy in traveling to new places, delving into intriguing books, and indulging in Western movies. However, above all else, his favorite moments were those spent with his beloved granddaughter, Marisa.

Those left behind to cherish Tony’s memory are his loving wife, Vicky; his son Monty and daughter-in-law Sherrie Lord McCombs; as well as his bonus sons Jamie, Jeremy, and Joshua Smith; bonus daughter Veronica Smith; granddaughter Marisa and her husband Louis Richards; sister Susie Biar; 3 bonus granddaughters; 2 bonus grandsons; great-grandson Roman Richards; brother-in-law Ricky Marlow; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, one sister, one bonus brother, and two half-sisters.

There are no services scheduled for Tony at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel of Ponca City, OK. Online condolences may be made at www.gracememorialchapel.net.
