Clarence E. "Bud" McClellan

March 19, 1916 ~ February 28, 1996

Clarence E. "Bud" McClellan was born March 19, 1916 at Strong City, Oklahoma to James E. and Margaret K. Aderhold McClellan and passed away February 28, 1996.

He attended public school at Strong City and Durham, Oklahoma.

He served 1942 to 1945 in the U.S. Coast Guard.

He was employed by Driscoll Randall Company in Sayre 1945-1947.

In 1947 he married Floretta Moore, daughter of attorney of law Alvin Moore formerly of Cheyenne, Oklahoma who was residing in Phoenix, Arizona.

Bud and Floretta moved to Phoenix in 1947 where he was employed by O. A. Stapley Company International Dealer.

They moved to Bakersfield, California where he was employed by a Diamond T. truck dealer.

They returned to Phoenix where Floretta was employed by U.S. Soil Conservation Service and he by United Metro {Tanner Brothers Inc.} for 25 years where he retired.

They were living in Glendale at the time of his death.

Bud was preceded in death by his grandparents; uncles; aunts; cousins; three sisters and two brothers; parents and many friends and cousins.

He is survived by two brothers, Warren of Livingston, Texas; and Johnny F. of Sayre, Oklahoma; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Services were March 4, 1996 at 1:00 p.m. in Arizona with the Rev. Tom Mattrick officiating. Interment was in Resthaven Park West Cemetery, Glendale, Arizona.
