A family visitation celebrating and honoring the life of Roger McClanahan, 67, of Drummond will be held 3:00 P.M. Wednesday April 10, 2019 in the Brown- Cummings Funeral Home. Military Honors will be conducted by The U.S. Marine Corps. Services and complete cremation care are under the direction of Brown-Cummings Funeral Home.
He was born to Wayne and Bobbie Jo Isbell McClanahan July 10, 1951 and passed from this life April 5, 2019.
He was raised and educated in Waukomis, graduating from Waukomis High School in 1969. He then enlisted in the United States Marine Corps and proudly served his country. He served in the Vietnam conflict. He was honorably discharged in 1975. He then moved to Waukomis, OK. where he married Debbie Estes Webb in 1972. He married Kay Willy in 1983 in Enid and on November 21, 1990 he married Sunshine Mendenhaul in Castle Rock, CO. He was a proud Veteran, a motorcycle rider, cowboy, truck driver, and dozer operator where he did dirt work. He worked for Rick Caruthers Construction, he was an owner and operator for Long Hall Cattle. Most of all he loved his family.
He is survived by his children Jason McClanahan of Drummond, Shawn Rogers, of Enid, Krystle Burpo, and husband Tyson, of Garber and Summer McClanahan, of Dover, grandchildren, Cherokee, Dustin, Jeremy, Jerry, Ashlyn, Krysten, Kenzie, Peyton, Karson, Aiden, and Arianna, great-grandchild, Kodie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two of three wives, and Grandson Nash McClanahan.
