Ruby Jo McCawley was born March 9, 1928 in Soper. Oklahoma the daughter of Nolan Forrest and Ada Wilma (Fennell) Harper. She passed from this life on January 15, 2025 in Sapulpa, Oklahoma at the age of 96 years, 10 months and 6 days.
Ruby was a homemaker who enjoyed crocheting and singing in church.
She was preceded in death by both her parents; husband John McCawley; brothers, Forrest Nugent Harper and Nolan Wayne Harper; and nephews, Jimmy Harper and Gordon Harper.
Her survivors include niece, Linda Gentry of Kansas City, Missouri; nephew, Phillip Harper of Sapulpa and numerous great nieces and nephews including Melissa Harper of Tulsa.
