J. C. "Snooks" McCarter

June 13, 1951 ~ March 4, 2002

Wichita, Kan.--Funeral services for J.C. "Snooks" McCarter, 50, of Wichita, Kan. will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 9, at Cochran Mortuary in Wichita, Kan. Mr. Dale Russell of the Southwest Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses will officiate. Services are under the direction of the Cochran Mortuary, Wichita, Kan.

J.C. McCarter was born June 13, 1951, the son of John and Nancy (Dreadfulwater) McCarter, and he passed from this life Monday, March 4, 2002, in Wichita, Kan.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Wilburn Eugene McCarter and Clem McCarter.

He is survived by his son Luke McCarter of Wichita, Kan.; his daughter, Brandy McCarter of Wichita, Kan.; two brothers, D.J. and John Henry McCarter of Tahlequah; and two sisters, Lil Perry of Tahlequah and Willa Mae Thirsty of Stillwell.
