Edward “Eddie” Charles McCans, 77, of Sapulpa was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on July 5,1947 to parents James and Geneva McCans and lived in Sapulpa his entire life.

He passed away peacefully in Tulsa, Oklahoma on November 1, 2024.

He was an expert auto body technician and painter for many years, but his favorite thing to do was drink beer and shoot pool with his friends. Eddie had the gift of gab, loved making new friends, listening to music and watching westerns.

Eddie is preceded in death by his Father James C. McCans Sr, Mother Geneva McCans and infant son Kevin Dale McCans.

He is survived by his children Sherry Chalk and husband Chad of Sapulpa, OK, Edward D. Mccans of Sapulpa, OK, Jennifer Shipman and husband Tyler of Owasso, OK, and Cody McCans of Sapulpa, OK, brother James C. Mccans Jr. and his wife Sharon of Fort Collins, Colorado, two nephews and one niece, eight grandchildren, and many other family members and friends.
