Patricia "Pat" M. McCamey, 58, of Guthrie, OK, passed away April 4, 2011. She was born March 26, 1953 in Fresno, CA to JoAnne Grigsby Hopkins and Donald Hopkins.
Pat was employed with the USDA as a meat inspector for 13 years and with Braum's as manager/assistant manager for 13 years.
Pat married Ronald G. McCamey on May 21, 1999 in Stillwater, OK. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She loved spending time with her family, gardening, taking care of her animals, and living the farm life with her husband. Her smile and sense of humor will be greatly missed by all.
Pat is preceded in death by her sister Karen Thomason and brother Billy Hopkins.
She is survived by her husband Ronnie McCamey of the home; two children Starr Olinger and husband Paul Dean of Guthrie and Travis Meredith and wife Amy of Guthrie; two step-children Mark McCamey and wife Cindy of Kansas City, KS and Sherri McCamey Hall of Oklahoma City, OK; brother Bob Thomason and wife Jeanie of Guthrie; sister Linda Ballinger and husband Kermit of Guthrie; sister Sis Casey and husband Tom of Topeka, KS; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; six step-grandchildren; four step-great-grandchildren; and a host of other loved family and friends.
Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2011 at Smith Memorial Chapel with Chaplain Gene Owen of Companion Hospice officiating. Services are under the direction of Smith-Gallo Funeral Home, Guthrie.
