Frank McAllister, Indiahoma, was born August 27, 1951 in West Point, NY to Ernest and Mathilde (Spitzer) McAllister. He died at his home on August 25, 2014 at the age of 62.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday, August 29, 2014 from 6-8pm in the Whinery-Huddleston Family Center.
Frank graduated from Eisenhower High School in 1970.
He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1972 and went for training in San Diego. During his Navy career he traveled to many places, including France, the Red Sea and Saudi Arabia. One of the accomplishments he was proud of was crossing the Equator. He was honorably discharged while stationed in Florida in 1975.
He attended Vo-Tech and obtained his welding certificate, then worked for LarRance Tank. He then went to work at Goodyear in 1979 as a tire builder and worked there for 35 years.
He married Gail Brenton in September 1985. Frank is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Franz and Mathilde Spitzer; father, Ernest McAllister; brother-in-law, Dean Torres.
Survivors include his daughters, Autumn McLaughlin and husband Nathan, of the home, and Cheresta Jensen of Indiahoma; grandsons, Jariahs Murray and Dre Jensen, both of Indiahoma; mother, Mathilde McAllister; brother, Ernest McAllister and wife Dee of Lawton; sister, Kelly Torres of Apache. He also has many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
