Dora Ann McAlister, resident of Blackwell, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2019 at her home. She was 46 years old. Dora Ann was born on August 12, 1972 in Pawhuska, Oklahoma to Patricia Louise (Riedle) Holtsclaw and LeRoy McAlister. Dora Ann was always happy and loved everyone. She loved all music and was never without her radio. She was also never without her magazines and her flyswatter. Although she wasn't too keen on animals growing up, she learned to love all of her mom's dogs, especially her Chihuahua, Thumper, who misses her dearly. Dora Ann was very independent and enjoyed doing things for herself. She was one of God's special children and was absolutely perfect the way God made her.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Jay Wiggs, sisters, Francis Thomas, Rebecca Stout, Barbara Bible, father, LeRoy McAlister, and step-father, Edward Stout.
Survivors include her mother, Patricia Holtsclaw of Blackwell, sister, Michelle Hopper of Ohio, brothers, Ronald Fankhouser of Kingfisher, OK, Robin Smith of Branson, MO, Wayne Stout of Blackwell, OK and Billy Stout Blackwell, OK, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A funeral ceremony for Dora Ann will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the House of Prayer in Blackwell.
Casketbearers will be: Rodney Bible, Cody Stout, Brian Wood, Donny Jones, Dalton Skirdla, and Aaron Hawk.
Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home of Blackwell.

Your winning smiles and laughter, the pleasures you impart, far outweigh your special needs, and melt the coldest heart. A precious gift from Heaven, a treasure from above, a child who's taught us many things, but most of all, "Real Love."
