He accepted Christ at a young age and was a Christian. He married Norma Jean Bratton in Gainesville, TX on June 30, 1952. He served our country as a member of the United States Army. Benny was a guard at Nuremberg Trails and went on to work at the Pentagon for the Joint Chiefs of Staff in the Department of Defense from the Truman Administration through the Johnson Administration. Serving as the Mayor of Mill Creek, owning the BullFrog Cafe as well as buying and selling antiques; he loved the town he got to call home. Those he leaves to cherish his memories are his wife, Norma of Ardmore; sons, Gary Maytubby and wife Becky, of Ardmore, Stanley Maytubby and wife Regina, of Gene Autry, OK; grandchildren, Shon Maytubby, Cassandra Carter and husband Kevin, Mike Maytubby and wife Sommer, Carrie Jolley and husband Justin; 11 great grandchildren and a host of family and friends.
