Pamela Ann May, 72, of Midwest City, OK went to be with the Lord on May 17, 2021 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Shawnee, OK. Pam was born on March 19, 1949 in Oklahoma City to the late Howard and Marie Clemens.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her mother Goldie Clemens of MWC, sister Sue (Bob) McCroskey of Arizona, and sister Betty White of MWC.
She is survived by her sister Janice (Jack) Cochran of MWC; brother-in-law Ray White of Broken Arrow; 3 daughters Amy Crossfield (Lynne Ruffini) of Woodstock, NY; Casey (Jeff) Machado of Bixby, OK; Stacey (Callen) Stephens of Shawnee, OK; 4 grandchildren Avery and Teagan Machado and Casen and Hartly Stephens and many loving family and friends.
Pam graduated in 1967 from Carl Albert High School. She attended Oklahoma State University, then transferred to the University of Central Oklahoma where she graduated with a degree in education. She began her career teaching English at Nicoma Park Junior High in 1973. After teaching there for many years, she began teaching English at Carl Albert Junior High where she retired in 2002. Pam then became the Pi Beta Phi Sorority house mom at OSU for the next 8 years. Pam made a lasting impact on many young lives during her time teaching and at OSU.
Pam enjoyed being with her 3 daughters, spending time on Blake Dr., shopping, traveling, quilting, Tuesday Lunch Bunch, Garden Club, and spending time with her grandchildren who referred to her as Nana.
