Evelyn (Bracken) May

No services are planned for Mrs. Evelyn Bracken May, 91, of Tishomingo, Oklahoma who passed away on May 19th, 2013 at the Mercy Hospital in Tishomingo.

Mrs. May was born on February 14th, 1922 in Mead, Oklahoma to Mark Bracken and Lou Ethel (Carson) Bracken. She grew up in this area and married Dr. E. O. May, an optometrist,in July of 1944 in Sulphur, Oklahoma. They came to Johnston County in 1944 and owned and operated the May Flower Shop in Tishomingo for approximately 21 years. Dr. May preceded her in death on August 24th, 1980. She was also a member of the United Methodist Church.
