January 17, 1950 ~ July 19, 2018
On July 19th, 2018 the Lord called home Sharon Darlene Maxey at the age of 68 years old. Sharon was the daughter of Betty Everett and Earl Malone, born in Durant, OK on January 17, 1950 of Baptist faith.
Sharon was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. She was very proud of her family. Her greatest joy in life was caring for and watching her little ones grow. Sharon loved holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with family was important to her. She also loved to play bingo and video poker. Sharon was known for her feisty, yet good sense of humor. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her. A nurse of 20 years her career focus was on helping others. At home her “special” recipes and crafts were her biggest passions. Sharon always loved to collect angels because she thought they were so very beautiful. Now she gets to live among them.
Sharon is survived by three children Jeffrey Blair and Dawn Blair of CA and Lori Maxey of OK; Five grandchildren Brittany Lovelace and Casey Blair of CA. Courtney Maxey, Heather Maxey, and Zachary Howard of Ok; Five great-grandchildren Mallorie Lovelace, Sienna Blair, and Derrick Lovelace of CA. Keirsly Coffman and Xander Farar of Ok; as well as her “adopted” grandchildren Larissa, Shawn, Adam, and Emily Oakley.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Charles Maxey.
