James Eric Maupin

November 27, 1966 ~ November 30, 2014

James Eric Maupin, 48, passed Sunday, November 30, 2014 at home surrounded by his loving family. James was born November 27, 1966, to John W. & Emelie Annette (Roark) Maupin in North Kansas City, MO.

He married Eloise (McMahon) July 29, 1989, and had two daughters that he cherished, Melanie and Jennifer. In addition to Eloise, Melanie and Jennifer, James is survived by his brother Brad Maupin, his wife, Mary, Owasso, OK. and his mother Emelie Annette Maupin of Bartlesville.

James received his bachelor degree from Northeastern Oklahoma State University and his Juris Doctorate Degree from University of Tulsa. After serving as a law clerk for U.S. District Court Judge Tom Brett, James practiced law as a partner with Moyers, Martin LLP.

Memorial Service 2 p.m. Friday, December 12, 2014 Asbury United Methodist Church, Mason Chapel.

In lieu of flowers, friends may make a contribution to the James Maupin Memorial Fund. As education was very important to James the funds will be used to help further the education of his children. Contributions can be sent to Tulsa Federal Credit Union, Attn. Terry Kollmorgen, 7447 Riverside Parkway, Tulsa, OK 74136.
