Patricia Sue "Patty" Mauk, longtime resident of Ponca City, passed Saturday, February 21, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. She was 56 years of age.
Patty was born March 18, 1958 in Ponca City, the daughter of Matthew Spielbusch and Dorothy (Grove) Spielbusch. She was a graduate of Ponca City High School. She was first employed with St. Mary's Catholic Church, then Conoco for several years before her last employment with Dorada Foods of Ponca City. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Patty loved her grandkids and her other enjoyments included the outdoors, camping, fishing and hiking.
She is survived by her three children, March Sprague and husband Patrick, of Seymour, Missouri, J.J. Payne and David Cole Mauk, both of Ponca City; six siblings, Leon Spielbusch, Doretta Jackson, Joe Spielbusch, Linda Bullard, Joy Jackson and Don Spielbusch; five grandchildren, Summer LeClair, Blaze Sprague, Olivia Sprague, James Payne and Alex Payne; one great grandchild, Mila LeClair; numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family and friends.
A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, February 26, 2015 at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Kevin Ratterman presiding. Arrangements are under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
Casket bearers are Jay Jackson, Brian Jackson, Owen Bullard, Tim Spielbusch, Matt Spielbusch and Jeff Williams.
