Louis Claude "Buzz" Mattler Jr., son of Louis Claude and Jacqueline Ellis (Ward) Mattler was born December 29, 1948 in New Harmony, Indiana and departed this life on June 11, 2008 in Proctor, Oklahoma at the age of 59 years 5 months and 12 days.
Buzz served his country proudly as a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After the Military he worked in several different professions with his last one being a security guard for Superior Wheels.
He enjoyed the duties that followed his role of being a very loving husband, father and grandfather to his family.
Buzz was preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by a very loving family that includes his wife; Candelaria Mattler of the home in Proctor, OK., daughters; Fennie Guinn and huband Dandy of Westville, OK., Dena Craig and husband Garrett of Jay, OK., Monica Hernandez and husband Angel of Farmington, AR., Claudia Chavez and husband Javier of Siloam Springs, AR., sons; Robert Mattler of Lake Jackson, TX., and Laurel R. Stubbs of El Paso, TX, 16 grandchildren, 5 sisters; Lynn Schader and husband Bobby of Farmington, AR., Mona James and husband Clay of Siloam Springs, AR., Peggy Shadowalker and husband Falcon of Delta, CO., Terry Logan of South Carolina, and Jenny Lynn of Robards, KT., 1 brother; William Mattler and wife Becky of Hiawasse, AR. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends also survive him.
