In search of a better life, Jose Lewis Matos, age 40, of Lawton passed away Monday, August 10, 2020. He grew up as a lover, a fighter, and a survivor, despite all of the odds stacked against him. With a goofy yet caring demeanor, it is safe to say that he was a good man, led astray by the dangers of the world. An example for us all to live our lives to the fullest.
He is survived by his parents, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, many siblings, and his beloved dog, Bella.
May he find his way to the light and find comfort in the afterlife.
