Mary Christine (Reilly) Mastrianni

Mary Christine (Reilly) Mastrianni
January 5, 1932 ~ October 31, 2020

Mary Christine Reilly Mastrianni went to be with our Lord on Saturday, Oct. 31, 2020, at the age of 88.

She was born in Dublin, Ireland, in January 1932 to Michael Reilly and Henrietta Corcoran Reilly. She was their third child and their first daughter.

Ultimately she was one of nine children. She had five sisters and three brothers: Mick, Joe, Evelyn, Paddy, Joan, Ann, Pat, and Carmel.

Mary Reilly married Edmund Mastrianni in 1952 in Manchester, England.

They had three children, Paul (wife Debi), Michael (wife Barbara), and Rose (husband Mike). She had four grandchildren, Tara and Toni (Paul and Debi), Stephen and Bryan (Rose). She also had four great grandchildren, Allie (Tara), Skye and Gavin (Toni), and Stephen III (Stephen) as well as a great great grandson, Laygen (Allie).

Mary was preceded in death by her husband Edmund (2014) and her son Michael (2016) and Michael's wife Barbara (2010).

Mary lived a full, energetic life with travel, gardening, caring for her home and her beloved pets. She belonged to the British Wives Club in Garland, Texas, an organization for English, Scottish and Irish women who married American men. She loved their gatherings and the wonderful friendships with women such as Jeanne and Ann.

During her years as a widow she was blessed to have a caregiver that became a friend.

Barbara treated her with kindness, gentleness, love and lots of laughter.

She eventually lived in a care home and was cared for by owners Roxanne and Charlie as well as caregivers Maria, Brenda, Claudia, Tish, Davita, and Mallory. The love, compassion and kindness they showed her was a blessing and a comfort.

She prayed to receive Jesus Christ into her life this year and was at peace with God and we are fully confident that He has given her a wonderful place to live in eternity and where we will be able to be with her again one day.

A funeral service will be held from 11 a.m. to noon on 2020-11-04 at Mulkey Mason Funeral Home, 740 South Edmonds Lane, Lewisville, Texas, USA.

A burial will be held from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on 2020-11-05 at Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas, USA.
