September 14, 1982 ~ March 1, 2022

Ty Riley Marvin, 39, of Bernice, Oklahoma died Tuesday, March 1, 2022.

Ty was born September 14, 1982, to parents Tommy Marvin and the late Debra Lynn (McPherson) Marvin, in Gravette, Arkansas. He graduated from Gravette High School. After high school, Ty served our country in the United States Navy, and was honorably discharged.

Ty loved music and movies. He spent a lot of time writing song lyrics, playing his guitar and drawing. He worked summers on the family ranch and enjoyed helping train horses. As a boy, he was always sent to catch the ones that didn't want to be caught. He just had a way with them.

Ty was preceded in death by his mother, Debra Lynn Marvin and his grandmother, Patricia Marvin.

He is survived by his father, Tommy Marvin; stepmother Susan Marvin; son Brayden Orozco; sisters Ashlee Marvin and Kenli Marvin; brothers Derek Marvin and Tate Marvin; grandfather Thomas Marvin and grandparents Cliff and Wanda McPherson.

A celebration of Ty’s life will be held on Friday, March 11 at 2pm at the Lighthouse Family Worship Center in Barnsdall, Oklahoma.
